Arc de Triomphe

And there is this remarkable piece of Architecture at the end of the Champs Elysees, in the center of the most exciting roundabout in the western hemisphere: The Arc de Triomphe! Raised by Napoleon, not himself of course, and now the place is named after this other great french general: Charles de Gaulle. Although the Parisiens themselves still call it 'Place d'etoile', referring to the star-shape that connects 12 roads. Have a look, preferably at nighttime, and i you like, you can go up to the roof and overlook the Champs Elysees and the rest of the city, again, most pretty at night, or sunset!
